KAPOW Labs is an independent product lab. We build our own AI software—a short list of things we think should exist, made properly.

Why we exist

Great software starts with a point of view.

Technology should create momentum—not more complexity. We bring together product thinking, design craft, engineering discipline, and applied AI to make useful things with personality.

Building our own products means we answer to the work rather than to a brief. It's slower to start and far better to finish: we can ask sharp questions early, change our minds in public, and hold the line on the last ten percent.

Our attention is on our own products, so we're not taking on client work as a business. Once in a while a partner project comes along that's genuinely worth making room for—a problem we find interesting, with people we'd enjoy building alongside.
